1st March - Feast of Saint David - Denis
"I've been lucky enough to attend Our Lady's shrine in Lourdes over many years and I've always got a special comfort and joy in that, and should I say courage to battle on. Mary is our great friend in all this and I try to pray to her every day."
Denis is from South Wales.
"At the culmination and also at the beginning of my commitment to God, Our Lady was present. I think for a lot of religious, she is the example and the protector of our 'yes', because Our Lady gave her fiat to God and gave her yes to God. In a certain way, I think she looks on us and we look to her in the same way, that she protects our yes that we've given to God, and continues to guide us. I really see her as my mother and also my sister, that brings us to the fullness of our vocation."
Our Lady's message to Mirjana Soldo, Međugorje, 2nd March 2012:
"Dear children, Through the immeasurable love of God I am coming among you and I am persistently calling you into the arms of my Son. With a motherly heart I am imploring you, my children, but I am also repeatedly warning you, that concern for those who have not come to know my Son be in the first place for you. Do not permit that by looking at you and your life, they are not overcome by a desire to come to know Him. Pray to the Holy Spirit for my Son to be impressed within you. Pray that you can be apostles of the divine light in this time of darkness and hopelessness. This is a time of your trial. With a rosary in hand and love in the heart set out with me. I am leading you towards Easter in my Son. Pray for those whom my Son has chosen that they can always live through Him and in Him – the High Priest. Thank you."

Margaret is from England.
"Every time I called Our Lady to keep me under her mantle with light, suddenly my heart felt like.. I was really in peace and I was sure that she was with me, because it was almost as though I could feel her. Since this time, I call her every time I go out very late, every time I feel that someone is dangerous or something, I call on Our Lady to keep me under her mantle and everything goes well every time. Also the thing that I love about Our Lady is that she always hears my prayers.
J'ai eu la grâce d'être accompagnée par la Sainte Vierge depuis toujours mais je me suis compte rendue vraiment de sa présence au près de moi il y a quelques années."

Thank you, Lady, for all your blessings. Amen."

"Mary is my mother and I love to call her Mama Mary. I guess my relationship with her really sprang to life when I was walking El Camino, to Santiago de Compostela … Before this pilgrimage my faith wasn't alive for me - I didn't truly believe and I didn't know what it meant to believe. But that was really the beginning of my conversion, what I call my initial conversion experience, which brought me into full faith, in true belief of my Father in heaven and His love for me and for every single soul that was ever created and it was Our Lady that led me to that moment of conversion. .. That's really what she did for me on El Camino... I don't know where I would be in my faith without her love and without her mantle of protection."
Claz is 27 & half Spanish / half Filippino.
"I've grown up with Our Lady, since I was born we've been praying the rosary at home. She's for me the best mother, the mother I can always come to with any joy, worry, sorrows. I entrust my children to Our Lady every day; I put mentally all of my children on her lap, because I know she can look after them much better than I can. We have a lot of graces through the intercession of Our Lady."
Titine is from Austria.
"What Mary means me to me is: my protector, my role model and my intercessor, especially being a mother to two young boys."
Sophy is from the Philippines.
"Mary really has been a role model for me and helped me in so much. She is the perfect example of how we should live our own lives."
Anthony is 24 & from England.
"For me Mary, I would say, would be my maternal guidance in my life .. I will pray a rosary at least twice a day and for that, it is my most powerful weapon. Saying that, on Sunday I was randomly pulled by the police, just because of the way I was dressed. And they said 'Have you got any weapons on you?' So I pulled out my rosary and said 'Yes, this is my weapon.' They raised some eyebrows and gave a good chuckle and let me on my way. It was only thanks to having Mary in my life that I could do something as sensible as that."
Roger is 23 & from England.
"Mary to me is my guide through the whole of my life from when I was born and really, really young. I've always known about Jesus and Mary, being brought up a Catholic and she's always been somebody that I can close my eyes and I can always see her. She is always there in my heart. As I get older, she's been a mother figure to me, she's been my safety and my security. As I've grown up, she's become more and more of a role model: if I'm in a difficult moral situation, you can always close your eyes and think what would Our Lady do in this situation."
Jenny is 25 & from England.
Our Lady's annual message to Mirjana in Medugorje, 18 March 2012:
"Dear children! I am coming among you because I desire to be your mother – your intercessor. I desire to be the bond between you and the Heavenly Father – your mediatrix. I desire to take you by the hand and to walk with you in the battle against the impure spirit. My children, consecrate yourselves to me completely. I will take your lives into my motherly hands and I will teach them peace and love, and then I will give them over to my Son. I am asking of you to pray and fast because only in this way will you know how to witness my Son in the right way through my motherly heart. Pray for your shepherds that, united in my Son, they can always joyfully proclaim the Word of God. Thank you."
19th March - Feast of Saint Joseph - Sister Cesariana
"I became a sister when I was very, very young just because Mary wanted me to be. For me, Mary is the mother, the mother because she cares for me, through her I gave the life of her own son. She's the mother who's listening and she taught me to listen. She's the mother who loves and she taught me her love. She's the mother who cares and she taught me how to care. Mary is my guide, Mary is the one who brought me to Jesus and through her I'm sure that the love that exists in Mary's heart is the love which exists in Jesus' heart and that love is the one with which Jesus loves me. And so I became a sister just to be an instrument in her and in his hands to spread this love to the people whom I meet."

25th March - 5th Sunday of Lent - Hubert
"I find perhaps the most important, poignant element of Mary is the status of mother, and the status that she has as of a mother looking after many vulnerable children, children like her own son. The very fact that He died like a man, tortured, scourged and crucified, reminds us once again that He took her flesh in the life that He lived. For me, if you like, it heightens the fact that Jesus is our brother, and that we are his siblings and Mary is our mother."
Hubert is 22 and from Britain.
Our Lady of Medjugorje's message to Marija Pavlović, 25 March 2012:
"Dear children! Also today, with joy, I desire to give you my motherly blessing and to call you to prayer. May prayer become a need for you to grow more in holiness every day. Work more on your conversion because you are far away, little children. Thank you for having responded to my call."
"Cari figli!
